    I am grateful for this thread, it has saved me from yet another gardening mistake :)

    I love Marguerites, but if I get some I will treat them like annuals.

    Thanks Joni :) Not been too bad a day really - week off work, pottering in the garden, spending some time with Little Controller and getting my WMD's* ready for later.

    I love Marguerites, but if I get some I will treat them like annuals.

    mine didnt make it through the winter last year and i really missed them during the summer, i wished i had taken some cuttings as i had two lesser known varieties, ah well as you say gardening mistakes affect everyone :)

    I've only had small gardens before, but since moving last year I've got a bigger one. Lots of space to fill, but it's very exposed, and some things can't take the wind and cold, seemingly.:(

    Here's hoping I do better this year.
