How could it be the perfect game when they could've had so much more? Being content to settle for lower ammounts is what killed Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
At first I thought Hywel and the last woman were just dead weight who brought the shared total down for the other two.
I was thinking that they could have both won £6000 each if it wasn't for the other two making it so that they could only win £3000 each.
It turned out that the two who got through first and built up the cash would have been humiliated by Anne in the final chase with Anne if it was just those two alone.
They hardly answered any questions in the final round.
So I was so surprised at Hywel. In the cash builder he looked rubbish and for the most part guessed most if not all of his questions to get into the final team.
In the final he answered most of the questions, probably about 8 in the first minute.
He was running that team by the end and as it turned out was desperately needed.
I don't think I've quite seen that on this show before. A contestant who appears to be a bit crap at first but who then turns out to be the main power in the team.
A very interesting game to watch due to how it turned out.
This week has probably been one of the best weeks for the Chase in terms of wins and exciting Final Chases!
Would agree with that, it's a big change from Series 7 where I don't think there were any double wins in a week. This series at least is scheduled better in the order that they put it out, of course with such a good start I can expect a period of time where the final chases aren't exciting. Mainly why I stopped watching the show by the end of Series 7, got so boring, 1 win, 6 Losses (for the contestants) later another one. Series 8 is better so far. Though you know the first 5 episodes of Series 7 weren't bad, 3 big prize funds and 3 tense final chases.
He was a coward for not choosing at least the middle offer. The ones behind were pathetic for shaking his hand as well. I could have laughed at that lass who shook her head after he chose the minus offer, and then she shook his hand when he went back.

The other contestants will be kicking him. Oh well, they'll probably all fail against our Annie.
All hail the great Anne :D I usually root for the chaser anyway
I know, he was worth more than the -£1,000 >:(
Yep, they could have had more.
She was kind at the end, saying Hywel was needed on the team - awww!

I know, I love her :D:D:p
So weird that Bradley completely ignored that! Why didn't he ask her who her son was?
Good mix of "celebs" tonight!
