GoGear Ariaz and Iplayer problems

I was given a Phillips GoGear Ariaz for my birthday, and it says that it is compatible with Iplayer. I have tried to download programmes from Iplayer and transfer them, but I always get the error message that they are copy protected. I have chosen the 'download for portable player' option, and followed the instructions on the Iplayer website, but with no luck. They play on my PC perfectly. Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it? Any tips or advice would be gratefully received
