Kylie Minogue's first album. I had it on casette tape and listened to it all the time. I think it was the first album I ever wanted/bought for myself. I was about five/six.
For me it was Bananarama's greatest hits. I remember my sister getting her first job so she said she would buy me any album I wanted for my birthday. As I loved Bananarama and never owned anything by them I asked for their greatest hits - on cassette - I played it to death till it got chewed! Then I saved all my pocket money and bought all their albums on CD! Spookily enough I bought another compilation from them yesterday.
Everything Changes by Take That probably, I was a big fan aged 10 lol not so much anymore. The first full album I got was a Michael Jackson compilation with my Walkman when I was maybe 5 or 6 years old but I couldn't tell you what it was called, it was so long ago, I doubt I still have it.
ABBA Gold. We had it on cassette and I used to listen to it on my Walkman when travelling. I remember singing along to a lot of the songs on it A few years later I got it on CD and I now have it on my iPod.
I remember getting ...Baby One More Time in Woolworths for my 8th birthday I only really listened to the singles and a few tracks wasn't until years later did i fall in love with it though that acoolade still belongs to delta
Oooh, good call. Quiet Life was my fave album of all time at one point.
Probably for me it was my first purchase in about 1973/4, Caribou by Elton John.
