    Is he 18 or 8?

You only allow a bit of fun if somebody is 8 do you?

Just after breakfast is probably the best time. Then he will have plenty of time to get his revenge and get ready to go out.

Yes do it after you've all had your pudding. It's even better if he's all dressed up.

Agreed, if he is dressed up it will be much more fun:D

I would say to go ahead with it as he did it to you on your birthday. Certainly not in a restaurant though, I'm sure the owners would not want that sort of thing going on. As for the clothes issue I would not do it if the clothes are going to be ruined as he may be upset and you don't want that on a special birthday.

We did my son on his 18th birthday and gave him 18 to match the number of years! If you are going out for a meal obviously wait until afterwards.

My brother pied me with cream pies on my birthday earlier in the year. I was hoping to get him back by pieing him on his
18th birthday on 6th January. It now turns out that we are going out for a meal and he will be wearing smart shirt, trousers etc. Should I go ahead?

Why are you behaving like a ten year old?

Methinks the OP is a WAM fetishist with a thing for men in smart clothes getting all messy.

Mealsothinks that he has a very empty sock drawer at the moment...

    Good advice but rather boring.
