Keep practising those smears, purees and deconstructions and you'll go far. Keep us posted so we can root for you

Maybe not the Deconstructions since they don't seem to like them or was that just Beef Wellington.:)

I am ashamed to say I lasted maybe 10 mins of this last night and couldn't cope seeing Gregg. I'm going to have to be an iPlayer viewer where I can whizz through all the bits where he's on it.

And also all the bits where they both eat. What is with John Toad's tongue!!!!!

    Clue......she's been to Thailand!;-)

It's not a rumour. There's a picture of all the returning former contestants on the Radio Times website.

Really glad that Mr Instant Mash won through! I know MC is supposed to be a slapstick comedy (it is, isn't it? ;-)) but a bit of realism does no harm at all!

Having said that, I'm not a fan of instant mashed potato, quite capable of mashing my own spuds thank you very much! (I've even had a hand at making Prashad's 'Pethis' - and they ain't easy!) However I did like the old TV commercials:
"On your last trip, did you discover what the Earth people eat?"
"They eat a great many of THESE!"
"They peel them with their little knives."
"Boil them for twenty of their minutes."
"Then they mash them all to bits!"
"They are clearly a most primitive people!"
    Classic!

Ugh, just catching up. Holly needs a slap...surprised that Sumera went, yeah she screwed one dish up but the rest were good (also partially gutted because she was pretty hot :p).

My parents failed the palate test. Mum thought the turkey was beef, dad thought it was lamb :D

    Hello peeps! :kitty: :kitty: :)

    Hope everyone is ok!

Just caught up on iplayer and then panicked as I couldn't find you all! :o

Well... holly has been hitting the botox young hasn't she? Not feeling the love for her, very very smug and up herself and I think Shrek has found potential wife number 4 here!

Not happy Holly frozen forehead is through but very glad Robert smash mash is though! I like him, happy cook and does proper grub.

Evening all. I've just made a deconstructed cottage pie. Mince on top, potato underneath, drop it on the floor.
