Even people in the house who hated him were crying when he left.

    No, out of admiration.

And his passing has brought the house together.... like a modern day Jesus

Gotta give him credit where it's due, he was splendid in his interviews... handled everything very well as did Kimbot.

I like that they approached things with a bit of humor, that's usually the best approach for me.

Kim mocking her pregnancy, the open it line and the way they handled the marriage stuff was all really good.

If only they could've been more like that in the house.

    Totally agree.

I will miss his character. He was the funniest housemate since Aaron. Although, I realise, not always intentionally.

Shame we didnt see a bit more of his Tom Jones and Shirley Bassey :D

I can't understand all the derision towards him.

OP- poor much beloved Steven is now no longer with us. I too suffer with this but together we must be strong. It's the least our hero deserves. In time, the pain and heartache will fade.

If he could speak to you now, he would want you to put your thread starting efforts into helping and now supporting another much beloved HM, in his friend Helen. He thinks these will be even more popular on DS than the threads on himself.

Come on, do it OP. You know it's what poor brave (but now departed and so therefore dead to the show) Steven would have wanted... ;-)

The start of his "proposal" was classic Steve:

Kimberly, you know I see you as marriage material...

They hardly threw anything at him though and they certainly weren't harsh with him (like they were for example with Marlon) and any criticism he deflected by saying you didn't see everything (the standard answer). He still didn't listen when he was told it was not the relationship/sex thing that led the public to evict him but the fact that its was his "all about me attitude" that mots of the people I know who don't like him had issue with.

He just seems a laugh to live with that's why there are some nice comments from the house, comes across so different as a viewer.
