It has to be the Grammy Award Winning Cotton's Song/Nadia's Theme used as the theme music for The Young and The Restless. It is more known as the montage theme for Nadia Comăneci's gymnast routines in the 1976 Olympics and to us Brits as the 'Theme' for 'Steve Wright's Sunday Love Songs' on BBC Radio 2
Honourable mentions must also go to Dynasty (plus the special version with lyrics) and Dallas (whose alternate version used as a tribute to the Late, Great Larry Hagman at the beginning of 'JR's Masterpiece' still brings a tear to my eye.
I think most theme tunes get repetitive after a while..the only one I never got bored with was Howards Way.. it always seemed to glam up Sunday nights ..
