In the episode Hurricane Neddy how the hell did Dr Foster manage to change his clothes if he was spanking Ned Flanders as a child for eight months non-stop? He starts and ends it with his doctor's outfit on and in other scenes throughout the spanking sequence he has a jumper on for winter and even dresses as Santa.

It is a cartoon. If you are asking questions about that scene, shouldn't you first ask how a child survived being spanked for 8 months permanently?

Or why social services haven't stepped in.

And why is noone investigating the jaundice?

How does Peter Griffin afford all the crazy things he does in his cutaways? I remember him calling in favours from people he'd never met and paying £400,000 for the Statue of Liberty's left foot as a wedding present for Quagmire. Don't even mention the underground base where he stores his porn.

I just can't figure out how he manages it.

On the same note if Wile E Coyote is starving to death as is often shown why not just buy food he must be a millionaire with all the Acme stuff he buys everyday.

I have a strong feeling it has something to do with the creator Matt Groening, sadly he's dead now so we'll never know.

I know the answer.......because it's a cartoon, they don't have to make any sense. They have had about 4 summer holidays in the Simpsons and Bart and Lisa still haven't gone up a grade in school :p

Well, the show has been going for over a quarter of a century and none of the characters have aged at all. :D

How on earth does Brian talk in Family Guy?

Canines to not have the required anatomy for such a complex linguistic feat.

I have lost endless nights of sleep due to this perplexing conundrum.
