Will Danielle & Heather get a mention on the anniversary of their deaths? (EE)

Heather will be gone a year in March in Eastenders and Danielle would've died 4 years ago in April.

It would be nice for Roxy to give Danielle a mention. Also, Janine returns on screen around April time (I think) so even she could mention it (however she barely acknowledges it).

I'm sure Shirley will give Hev a mention. I hope it's not all brushed under the carpet as I still feel we need an aftermath!

    Most characters involved in the Danielle storyline are gone, Roxy mentioning it would just seem out of place.

    I'll be shocked if the death of Heather isn't mentioned. Shirley, Jay and Dot are very much still affected by it so there's the potential for some good scenes there.

    I wouldn't hold your breath. If they can't mention Reg Cox on 19th Feb each year then i think there's no way Heather will be mentioned.

    First anniversaries are always mentioned. But it usually stops there.

    We will probably have a scene of Shirl in the Vic or R&R getting drunk and toasting My 'Ev :rolleyes:

    As much as I like EE remembering anniversaries of characters deaths, if every character who has died on EE gets a mention everytime it's an anniversary of their death then we'll be hearing the same conversation every week!

    I do think Heather should be mentioned but not so much Danielle any more.

    If Ronnie was still around she'd mention Danielle probably, but heather should definitely get mentioned. Can't believe it's nearly a year already!

    If the lola/lexi s/l is being done at the same time and shirley aint involved i doubt it

    Roxy never really cared her niece died. She didn't remember the first anniversary so wouldnt mention the 4th.

    Well I'm holding out some hope for Heather's 'Anniversary week' i.e. hoping there's some good performances from Phil and Shirley. Maybe a memorial and laying some flowers. It would make sense, especially from Dot's point of view.

    However like many have said, Eastenders do have a tendency to forget the deceased quick.
