LOL - I loved Crossroads - my friends and I used to arrange our baby's feeds to coincide with it so we could sit down in peace! You can do that with your first:D
Was the book or film better? I cant think offhand of any film better than the book actually. I know some say Harry potter but i haven't seen or read either.
Possibly Gone with the wind, but they were very different.
The HP films were brilliant mainly due to the special effects, but the books paint such a good picture you can imagine the scenes anyway.

Re Ollylimpix....darn things probably gonna cost me money as the flights around them are a) expensive and b) hard to find plus may not see my sis because they're off the see events in London around the time we're home then we have to get back here before they'll be up in Scotland...ho hum...

Morning Ack - I'm in the mood for a good strop this morning, we could have a mass strop.

Yes I guess everything in and around London, including flights and other transport, will rocket in price. I'll be quite happy watching it on TV 100 miles away:D
I don't mind watching t'olympics just object to inflated prices as we usually transit through heathrow on our way home, might have to go via schipol or frankfurt or dubai this time....which means longer travel times and fewer flight choices...ach, we'll get something booked eventually, can't be arsed at the moment, t'interweb here's playing silly bollocks cos of the rain making web-browsing flights a touch frustrating...:rolleyes:

I bet the Olympic watchers don't spend as much cash as the seasonal influx of American citizens would in a normal summer - the top end hotel market might struggle.
This lot are getting paid, but with their track record I wonder how effective they'll be?? Surely they'll be using the military and specially trained police as well?
