Shouldn't they remember?

Come the episodes conclusion (Day of the Doctor), Smith's Doctor still remembers the events that unfolded. If Hurt's Doctor was the one that changed the events (like he did), then shouldn't him, and every Doctor that follows also remember the change of Events? Eccleston, Tennant, Smith and even Capaldi should all have knowledge of what has just happened.

it doesn't make sense to me that Smith does remember, when Eccleston and Tennant wouldn't.
