A great song by an artist who you usually dislike

Is there a song or songs by an artist who you are usually not a fan of that you can't help loving?

Cliff Richard. Never in a million years would I usually listen to one of his songs but I think We Don't Talk Anymore is the best thing he has ever done. I'm also quite fond of Wired For Sound and Devil Woman. But all his other songs I couldn't care less about.

Rick Astley. I was never a fan of his back in the day and Never Gonna Give You Up is his most famous song but he did have other hits as well. The only Rick Astley song I've ever liked is Whenever I Need Somebody.

    Good topic.

I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate Spandau Ballet so much that I could write a book about it. But even though I try really hard, I still rather like 'Gold'. DAMN that record, DAMN it!!!

I can't believe i'm admitting this on a public forum but the Celion Dion song 'Only one road' is pretty good.

That is a very good example. Also running up that hill by Kate Bush and enjoy the silence by Depeche Mode.

Katy Perry - Thinking Of You, Waking Up In Vegas, Hummingbird Heartbeat.

I know that's three songs, but I really don't like anything else from her catalogue.

Robbie Williams sings the song "Have You Seen Miss Jones" in the film "Brigdget Jones Diary" and for most of the time I would never listen to this ego-trip on legs but for this one song he proves he has a fine voice but keeps making songs that I can't stand. Sorry if it offends any of his fans but I am being honest.

    Girls Aloud - The Promise.

Can't think of anything else really. I can't stand Cheryl Cole but Parachute is alright - hardly a "great" song though. Far from it.

3 Words by Cheryl Cole. I'm kind of glad she released it really. It's a very peculiar song, and if any other artist would've released it, nobody would've bought it and nobody would've played it on the radio. It can be annoying when artists get as popular as her, but the positive side, it was good that a less mainstream, but very good, piece of music could become popular because of that.

If there's one thing I hate in music it's "new Country" or whatever it's called, didn't much like old country, but at least there was some real emotion in it, not homogenized crap filtered of any soul for the Walmart generation.

My chief hate is Shania Twain, "Man I feel like a woman" and "Don't impress me much" are 2 of the most irritating horribly soulless songs to have ever been recorded.

I only write all this to own up to my eternal shame that I really, really like "You're Still The One":o

Oh and Radio-ga-ga by Queen, I always hated them, but like that song, a lot.

I also found "say you'll be there" by the Spice Girls rather pleasant, which is odd as I hate all their other stuff.

Oh and "Blame it on the Weatherman", by B*witched.

    Toxic - Britney Spears
Pretty much everything else she's ever done annoys me.

Once Around the Block - Badly Drawn Boy
The rest of his stuff is nothing special, but that acoustic wah thing is class.

    Paper Planes - MIA
Great choon, but her other songs are unlistenable to me.

That's a good call it is a surprisingly good song by them.

PJ & Duncan/Ant & Dec during their music career realeased some dire songs but I have to admit that Shout with Duncan/Dec pretending to play a guitar in the video was quite a good song.
