Hopefully they get him a decent suit and try to get that twitchy eye under control.:o

And a better song too would be nice.

There would be some sort of kudos if he represented Italy with his "winning" San Remo song.

In previous San Remos they at least played a trailer for Eurovision.

He needs a very strong song, nothing of his back catalogue is that spectacular imo

I doubt it. Both years it peaked during the Italian song and then went down to a lower level.

Hmmm -- I like him more than you lot do...but I've only just looked at a couple of songs on youtube (unless I've got the wrong marco...:D)...will reserve judgement until we hear the ACTUAL song...

    Fudd -- good one... ;)

Well that song was better than I thought it was going to be anyway, better than some of his other stuff. Will see what they choose for him I suppose.

That trophy is dire, I'd rather have got Dinara's pink suitcase from Latvia.

I wouldn't mind them sending that song to Eurovision. Good choice Italy

I think that will be reserved for Cascada (really only the UK can trump them on name now unless Sweden are drawn last)

    Rylan Ross Clark ‏@RylanClark

Everyone go follow @Kaseykaysmith and all my Irish followers vote for Kasey song 5 Kiss Me #eurosong2013 #kaseyforeurovision good luck x

Rylan's encouraging people to vote for Kasey in Eurosong, they really shouldn't if they want Ireland to do well

Just been perusing wiki and tonight's Melfest was the first semi where neither the opening or closing songs made the top 4 since 2009 heat 1, where Nina Söderquist and Marie Serneholt were both knocked out.

To be honest I think the Swedes have completely lost the plot this year in terms of voting. They're turning into Norway.
