Absolutely Fabulous - the 90's episodes were great but none of the series or specials that they did in the 00's were nearly as good. I love the show but they shouldn't have revived it.

Only Fools and Horses - same as Ab Fab. The series had a great ending in 1996 but devoid of ideas, the BBC insisted on reviving it in the 00's for a few poorly done specials and two poorly done spinoffs.

Last of the Summer Wine - from what I've seen of the show, it appears to have been the same episode for 30 years.

Casualty and Holby City. Antiques Roadshow, Countryfile, Songs of Praise.
    Question Time.
    All terminally dull.

    Only Fools and Horses
    Royle Family
    Big Brother
    Last of the Summer Wine
    Birds of a Feather
    New Tricks (if renewed).
    Brookside

All of them were/are a shadow of the earlier series. Quite sad seeing good programmes being tainted by dragging them on too long.

Third time round wasn't as good but the fourth series was probably the best they did especially the ending to the final episode

Only Fools and Horses should never have come back after Del Boy, Rodney and Uncle Albert walked off into the sunset having finally become millionaires, that was the perfect ending.

And judging by the first few episodes of the new series of Big Bang Theory, that show has definitely passed it's sell by date.

Also Casualty, Countryfile and Antiques Roadshow. They're on every, every weekend virtually all year round without fail. Make something new for weekends!

    Oh and Eastenders.

The classic must be Noels House Party.

First few series all very inventive and entertaining.
Then they ran out of ideas, so just started repeating the same stunts,
and even tried fooling the same celebs a second time.

Just seems like a series of moans about programmes that the posters don't like. For example, ridiculous to suggest that Antiques Roadshow and Countryfile have 'outstayed their welcome'.

I suspect that I would not dream of watching the programmes that posters want to replace them with.

Given the tons of tv programmes you could have chosen this wouldn't be one of them. The 3rd and particularly Blackadder Goes Fourth were brilliant in my opinion.

As for series that should have ended sooner no doubt Desperate Housewives comes to mind but also Heartbeat went severely downhill after the first series. Didn't like OFAH after Rodders Wedding and Friends should have finished at least 5 series earlier.

How is the X Factor 'so 90's' when it started in about 2004? Even Popstars was in 2000.

Agree with all the above, plus London's Burning and The Bill, which seemed to spend more and more time in the interview room towards the end.
