Keep up chap. It's been playing for over a month.
And yes he's part of Global Talent. What's the problem?
Haha, funny how you're not that quick on to other new releases......and you CERTAINLY don't play any others sounding like that!
On point 2, the problem is, take the change to BST out of the equation, the song was played at EXACTLY the same time on both Saturday and Sunday early morning....... not "smart" programming

To be fair it's hard to criticise them playing Elyar Fox when his last single got to number five. He's also been featured on Radio 1, guesting on Matt Edmondson's show on Sunday, though he isn't on the daytime playlist.
I've noticed that Avicii's monthly podcast/show has been moved to 10pm this Saturday. Very unlike Capital to put on what could be their first specialist show at this time of evening?..
Reminder: Heart North West & Wales and Cymru are to join the existing Capital network from May 6th.
Got to love the professional standards at Capital. Some things I've noticed on the version we get on DAB in Northants in the past couple of days alone:
* The advert break after the UK Top 40 on Sunday was garbled. It sounded like one set of adverts playing over the top of another set of adverts. I seem to recall this happening before, could be a recurring issue.
* Last night at about 1900 there was a fail whereby there was no news whatsoever. Just a jingle followed by 15 seconds or so of silence before the DJ sheepishly interjected.
* Today after the 1300 news the on air DJ was heard saying, presumably to a colleague "don't go out and get p****d on a school night" before addressing the listeners properly as if nothing happened and playing a record.
Seriously, as funny as some of these gaffes are, where's the quality control ?
Capital FM breakfast newsreader Dominic Burn Bows out. :-(
Getting up at 4.30am finally got the better of me' so he wrote on twitter. Doing other exciting stuff too. Possible right, although he's done it for years on Radio 1.
Capital South Coast and Heart Solent regularly share news readers, but recently I've heard the same news reader presenting news bulletins on them AND Heart Thames Valley, with a Thames Valley bulletin on 102.9. Definitely spreading the news readers thinly at the moment.
The news on Capital Breakfast London this morning started with "From Global's Newsroom at (time)..." and then ended with "from Global's Newsroom, Capital reports, I'm (name)."
Is this a new thing accross the whole network/all of global's stations or just the London ones?
Don't really get the point in it, most listeners won't care which newsroom the report is coming from.

Was the same on Capital EM at 8.30 and Smooth EM's 9am bulletin has begun "From Global's Newsroom at 9"
Capital Breakfast's Adam, Danny and JoJo will be live from Meadowhall celebrating the Tour De France coming to Yorkshire, live on Capital Yorkshire from 12 today!
I was listening to Capital North Wales Coast this morning, well i listen nearly everyday and this morning the welsh language opt out finished at 5.52 am which then opt back in onto the network then a song faded out and there was some silance for a bit, then it went to the ads which lasted for 5 mins normally, they last less then that which resulted the ads crashing into the news it was fine by 6.30 am they must be having a bad day.
Comments
They are currently being restructured.

Hehe, just having a change from Huey and Bob!:D:D

Sarah Ploomer I think it was...

As Global isn't really a well known brand like Sky News or even IRN, most listeners won't know or care who they are.
Yes. Also, even if people don't know 'Global' the company, 'Global Newsroom' makes you think of some huge operation.
"From Global's Newsroom I'm NAME for Capital South Coast"
Idris Elba show very good a masterstroke getting him - super talented. Shame tucked away at 12am. Be better at 10pm.
Duncan Wallace doing some good things just need a bit more commitment from the station.
I've listened to him this week covering for Greg Burns in London - sounds really great, loads of energy and humour.

They also reinstated it once they took control of Smooth.
Seem to remember hearing the slogan of 'National radio, locally delivered'.
