  Renee Zellweger - Her last film was the excellent My Own Love Song in 2010. She was/is involved in the promising Cinnamon Girl TV series but I'm not sure what's going on with that now.
  
  Goldie Hawn - I'd love to see her in another comedy.
  
  Winona Ryder - I'd like to see her score another great lead role in a film.
  
  Frances McDormand - Another actress I'd love to see take on a juicy lead role again. At least she has the upcoming Olive Kitteridge mini-series. She also does a lot of stage work.
  
  Sissy Spacek - A brilliant actress who has been reduced to bit parts.
  
  Daniela Nardini - She deserves more than the odd TV episode.
  
  It's a shame Brad Renfro died. Another actress who I think deserves better roles is Lauren Ambrose. I'd love to see her in another great weekly TV drama.

  I know they are in the veteran category but I miss Roger Moore and Clint Eastwood,and their hay days of the 1970s.
