Apparently he is really g*y but i thought he was bi maybe it's not just black and white
Someone just tweeted Simon was outside having a **** with one of the lads from one direction. Presumably if Mish was there he would have been outside having a **** with her. I think we deduced she was partial to a marlborough light

It's now less than 3 weeks until USXF. Keeping in mind, that Simon is a master manipulator and an expert at getting free publicity...he has to have something up his sleeve. In order to get the publicity that he wants, it has to be something big. There's a lot of new shows starting up over here in September...Simon wants to steal their thunder.
Simon and Mish break-up = 10 seconds on the entertainment shows. Simon and Mish get married = 1 minute on the shows and a small picture with a few lines in the tabloids. Not good enough.
Which leads me back to the Cheryl/Nicole saga. It just doesn't ring true. The one way that he could get the headlines that he wants in September is to fire a second judge...Nicole. If Nicole was replaced with Mariah...headlines (she's a superstar). Or if Cheryl was reinstated on the panel....even in the US that would certainlly get headlines.
Something will definitely kick off thats for sure. And knowing Simon, it wont be anything predictable either.
I doubt it will be anything "personal" - the ONLY thing I can see on that score is if ratings flag so much they decide to invent some hideous fairy tale fauxmance with Paula. Its obvious they are headed that way with every promo video and shoot having them all over each other like a rather irritating rash. I do hope Simon would prefer to keep the single shred of dignity he has left and NOT go down this route and let the Paula thing have to spill into his personal life. At least the whole ridiculous pantomime is only played out on set at the moment.
Its more likely to be some DRAMA with the show - would they shuffle the judges again so soon? Im not sure. It would make Simon's initial choices seem rather badly made if they play Musical Judges again. And nobody really cared last time. The problem is, no one in the USA CARES about the show yet- and they wont till it airs. Id guess they will save the next big controversy until a few weeks into it. They will rely on a heavy dollop of general promo to get the viewers to watch show 1 - after that is when the spin will begin. No doubt there will be all sorts of rubbish weaved to the press.
Paula shagging a boy band, a sprinkling already signed to LA Reid - plus Simon's favourite trick of deliberately booting out "good" contestants in favour of one that make better headlines. Auto Tune is a bit old hat now so maybe something edgier for the Americans....Final 12 forced to have Botox and veneers before they are allowed to perform?
Ive no doubt the PR team is INFEASIBLY busy cooking up all sorts. Whatever they come up with though, rest assured the hardened cynics on this thread will rip it all to shreds .
Dear God, !!! Never knew such a forum existed. How delusional can you get. Makes sense now though... all the fawning over each other on camera.... must send the Saula brigade into hysterics.. and every one of them a viewer.. which is all that matters to Simon... ratings, ratings, ratings. !

Its a scary, scary place
But yeah, Simon isnt one to ignore a ratings opportunity and like it or loathe it, "Saula" is the one part of the show the Americans are actually interested in right now. Hence, he is milking it. They *KNOW* how popular the whole Saula phenomena is - granted that board is the hard core contingent who read gargantuan amounts into the tiniest of actions. But in general, the concept of "Saula" appeals greatly to the demographic they want to attract to the show.
The very fact the main stream media has picked up on the term "Saula" says an awful lot to me and its no surprise it will be and has been and will be milked.
Any way, the Saula girls are generally harmless, they dig up a lot of good info so we shouldnt be too harsh on them - but we can giggle behind our hands at their delusion though?
A great pic of him, one of the best in a long time i think. Looking relaxed, happy and more healthy than earlier in the year. He really needed that long holiday.
I like the X Factor UK With the new Judges but i do still miss Simon Cowell a bit. I Really hope he comes back for the live shows becuase i don't think it would be the Same without seeing him there.
The holiday did him a world of good. Simon does look relaxed and happy. An added plus last night is that he enjoys Jackie's company. Still no Mish then.....hmm.

Oh Allie, you do make me laugh, you are such a cynic
but spot on
Im NOT a fan of game shows and didnt have high hopes for Red or Black at all. And to be honest it was pretty much what I expected. The problem IS, the initial core concept is actually quite a good one - its a great game to play along with at home and is fairly harmless Saturday night telly. However, its over complicated and the fact the contestants often dont get a "free will" choice of red or black seems to tarnish the overall feel of the show.
ITV seem to relish these padded out, contestant based epics though, so it WAS a good fit for their schedule. I just think with some production tweaks it COULD actually be a very very good show. Ant & Dec as usual were professional and held it together well - but they needed a bit more interaction with the contestants rather than the X Factor style sob story epics.
Simon was there last night and seemed pleased with how it went...rather relieved they had a winner for the first show I think .

It is still a complicated show, even half way through i felt that A&D were trying so hard to get the rules across. The contestant stories were a big mistake, it crossed over into XF territory, but at least in that show we see the people again at Bootcamp etc. Overall i enjoyed it and think viewers will increase, but it's such an expensive show, i'm not certain yet that we will see another series. A shame because i can see why Simon went for it and agree with you Allie, just some slight changes are needed for improvement. I wonder if they will re-edit some footage for the coming week?
So how did Simon look to you Allie? Facially he looked great on the pics, but who knows what's going on under that mound of ill- fitting clothing?! An absolute shocking outfit even by his standards. I know producers and behind the scenes people dress casually when filming, but that was going too far!

Leona and one direction are there apparently so maybe he wouldn't need to take anyone. Can just hang around with them.
Here's a new usa xf clip, very nice, if a bit heavy on the eyeshadow

Generally not a big fan of gameshows, but for a week's worth of viewing, it will be good value.
Averaged between 6-7m viewers so same as Saturday Night Takeaway which has won loads of awards.

I think Big Ben needs a rename....how about Yorkie as its not for girls
Moi? Cynical when it comes to the divine Mr Cowell? NEVER! I believe everything Mr Clifford tells us!
