Well as the person has been reinstated quite quickly we have obviously not been told the whole truth by Tommy and his gang.

    :D.
so you subscriber to someone who is biased, as long as they agree with your views. pricelesss.

oh, and as for the hang and flog brigade, i'm willing to bet a few liberals in this thread would love to hang and flog tommy robinson.

All I said is that they should look at the evidence and hear both sides of the story before coming to conclusions, which is what they've done. Why does this make me biased? If you look at early posts I said he should have served the racist twantker regardless, but some people were calling for an instant sacking without knowing anything more than what Robinson had claimed.

Thats if the shop assistant swore at him though and there is proof. What if Robinson and his mate said something to the shop assistant first?

That's possible. But I'd have thought staff at a shop like Selfridges would have been trained in how to deal with problem customers involving getting floor managers or whatever involved - not taking things into their own hands.

There's every chance the employee got played - but they shouldn't have fallen for it - particularly if they know who they are dealing with which this story story suggests is the case.

Right back at ya! Do you think vindictiveness is something that does not exist?!

I'm very glad to hear the shop worker has been reinstated and I'm not happy with Selfridges at all at providing Robinson with a free lunch!

Its easier said than done sometimes. There is only so much peeple can take and if the shop worker has been getting a lot of hassle over the years generally (both in and out of work) then my sympathy would be with the shop worker. For me too many organisations allow the public to treat workers like dirt and expect them to put up with it where if it was up to me I'd be showing the "customer" the door!

Looking at what they fed him, they were probably hoping for a heart attack.

I have done, 4 separate cases, one lasting 3 weeks. I weigh the evidence rather than jumping to conclusions like you do. What do you base your assertion on that it is for financial reasons, if you haven't seen the evidence?

    This thread would prove otherwise.

Also, what assertion? All I've done is watch you rabid Robinson haters bury him.

Why should we believe what he says generally? I've heard him deny on radio that Tommy Robinson wasn't his real name and it isn't. I've heard him say he is only against extreme islam and then in an interview with Andrew Neil which is on youtube he says he joined the BNP before he realised it was an organisation that accepted non whites!

    Nope, the financial impact.

I really hope you never get to serve on a jury.

Or rather Selfridges have weighed up the financial impact.

    Your own words

    wires crossed

I was under the impression the assertion was of me defended him. I've no idea what transpired in Selfridges completely, and going by the recent decision of Selfridges neither do they.
But to listen to you(and others) on here you would think Mr Robinson was the devil incarnate main instigator of this incident and guilty of everything.

So if he was admitted to your ward you'd feel obliged to not treat him?

Again, I never said that. I've treated plenty of racists of various ilks in the past - and will do in the future. However it doesn't give them the right to abuse me or record me.

II suspect both parties think they are in the right in this case

But they are saying the worker cannot refuse to serve customers! Including if they get rude or worse?!

After seeing that footage, I doubt very much the shop worker did anything wrong at all!

Isn't "Robinson" out on Police bail at the moment too?

How do you 'know' you've treated racists in the past? do you ask them beforehand?

I must admit I'm not the kind to practice what it sounds like I'm preaching in this regard. If provoked i'd have probably told him to go forth in words of very few syllables without a second thought for the consequences.

No, the racist abuse directed my way usually is a bit of a hint.

EDIT - btw I am white

And if you had been provoked in an out of order way first then I wouldn't blame ya.

It'll come as shock to a lot on here that non whites can be racist as well.

Where abouts in the UAF hierarchy are you?

I don't really bother with any of that.

But I don't give nazis one millimetre.

This is why - Greece's equivalent of the EDL/BNP = murderers

Shopping for Armani at Selfridges? Working class hero my arse.

I can understand why a Muslim worker would refuse to serve a violent man who has spent years inciting hatred against Muslims. I sort of admire his stand actually. But I also fully expect him to be disciplined because you can't pick and choose who you serve. And he's been suspended. Maybe he felt it was worth it.

LOL, amazing that the only people that suggest anyone thinks that are the far right supporters/sympathisers. Now stop making things up to suit your agenda (just my Lennon/Robinson or whatever he is calling himself).

New developments on the story about him being kicked out of the Casino too, apparently he is on a national database of people barred from casinos due to serious incidents in the past http://www.miltonkeynes.co.uk/news/edl-leader-told-to-leave-new-city-casino-1-5503151

Oh dear, not a good week for the racist little thug is it?

Media won't report this however so most people will only know the original stories.

I admire the store assistant for not serving Robinson & his idiot friend but at the end of the day, you can't pick & choose who you want to serve...unless there's evidence that the EDL bunch verbally abused him or were extremely disrespectful to the employee. In which case, give him hell!

Well done to the shop worker, though of course he has to be sacked.
