I very rarely wear perfume. No particular reason for it, I just don't . But then I don't wear any makeup apart from powder to take the shine off my skin either.
I hate cheap perfume, vile stuff, and it makes me sneeze or want to throw up.
And the cheap crap is so strong stinks like hairspray generally.
Don't wear perfume much, if I do it has to be a fine French one for night & winter, and I prefer men's French colognes for day and summer, light & fresh.
I do - gives me headaches and, in enclosed spaces, makes me nauseous. My pet hate is people who drown themselves in perfume, particularly the heavy, cloying type. Lighter fruity, citrus scents are bearable though.
I didn't used to like it but in the past year or so I have began to take an interest. I only really get on with fruity floral or gourmand perfumes as others tend to make me sneeze and wheeze.
I like light citrussy scents, like Jo Malone's Lime Basil & Mandarin cologne.
But if perfume makes you wheeze, why not try a solid perfume from L'Occitane or perfume oil from the body shop? No fumes to cause your airways to spasm, and still a delightful scent.

Instead of perfume I use a body spray which is very light, and just a couple of little sprays.
