Gotta say out of all the teens bens acting is probably the best, he seems a lot older than his age, potentially a good character if used properly by kirkwood.

Yeah, despite the bad writing and nonsensical storylines there's still something likeable about him. I can understand why people hate him now, but why people hated him so much when he first came on the scene i don't know.
You do realise more than one person is in charge of what goes on in the program.
The 'blame it on the exec' bandwagon is almost a meme now.
And it's from some of the same people and it's just so boring now. If you don't like something then turn it off. There's no way i'd waste my time watching something i don't like.
I have to got to say that for quite a while I have found Ben to be quite an irritant however these last two episodes have helped me see another side to him..... i'm finally finding him more interesting to watch and tonights climax was just spot on.

I get that, I'm not particularly enamoured with the show at the moment myself, I was only pointing out the faults don't just lie with the exec producer. I just think it's quite lazy to lambast one person for the problems of a show run by a large number of people.

Old Ben had charm. He was a likeable character...something EastEnders lacks big time. New Ben, along with New Lucy and New Lauren is awful. He needs to go.

Its obvious all current roads are leading to his exit and the latest spoilers seems to set that in stone.
In many ways its a waste and a shame that a legend such as Kathy was killed off for a character who is now likely to leave for years on end. Nevermind
