I finally got around to watching this after having it for the last couple of Christmasses. I enjoyed the first film, but was disappointed by the second. This one really surprised me as being easily the best of the series. Funny throughout, and the Neil Patrick Harris scenes are fantastic.

For me this is up there with Christmas Vacation as one of the funniest Christmas movies. Anyone else want to give their thoughts?

    I found the first one funny until it became tedious towards the end. I disliked the sequel, which left me a huge set of ultra-low expectations for the third film, but it surprisingly had me laughing at times.

    I won't watch it again, though. In case that time when it worked might be due to low expectations, good timing and dumb luck.

    I thought this one was terrible. It was too much of a parody, than an actual movie. Number 2, is my favourite and the peaking point for me.
