I caught the second programme, but sadly missed the first, of very funny anecdotes about the hi-jinks that happened during presenting Test Match Special. There was a really good one about how Ian Botham deliberately run out Geoffrey Boycott as he wasn't scoring runs fast enough.

One to check out on i-Player.

One thing that did surprise was that despite the warning for strong language there was a uncensored "bastard" and the f-word and the show was broadcast between 7.15 and 7.45pm. They were vital for the stories but I thought it would never get through the censor.

Indeed, I dropped me bacon butty on Sunday night when they said the F word but I assume they figured it wasnt a show that kids would be interested in so they could transmit it.
