    Good news about all the jobs, but I'd like to see figures showing how many of them actually pay enough to not require any benefits top-up, rather than being jobs with workers just being moved from one benefit to another to provide subsidised employer profits.

    The Tories are looking to creating Full Employment by taking away the welfare system, so that everyone is counted as employed even if they are not.

    * “Finish the job”
    * “Keep working through our plan”
    * “Fix the roof while the sun is shining”
    * “Securing a truly national recovery”
    * “Making sure all parts of our country feel the benefits of recovery”
    * “A Britain that lives within its means”
    * “A critical choice” between returning to “the chaos of the past” and “the competence” of “the plan that’s working”
    * “13 years of Labour”
    * “The mess they left behind”
    * “Difficult decisions”
    * “Helping with aspiration”
    * “Those who work hard and play by the rules” and “do the right thing”
    * “Dignity and security in retirement”
    * “All in this together” (yes, he still says it, every time)

    …and of course: * “Long Term Economic Plan”

    "Northern powerhouse"

    Truth hurts. They are only doing what they do every time they are in office. Labour creates unemployment. FACT. Unemployment rose under every single Labour Govt. Unemployment fell under every single Tory Govt.

    If you like facts then you'll know unemployment was highest under the Tories.

    I want to know how exactly he's going to make those welfare 'savings'.

    A lot of preamble, not much info so far.

    I can't believe it's taken this long to pay off the debt from WW1

    Surprising not. Tories get put into power every time because Labour f..k up. It takes time to sort out the f..k up but they do every time.

    Common sense using the sale of the bank assets to pay off the debt, I just wonder if voters will realise economically longer-term this is a really wise move. Too much short termism, what can you do for me know thinking.

    I wonder if people who believe what Osbourne is saying are the same people who cared that Natalie Bennette couldn't cost the Green's housing policy?
