What are the most iconic British buildings, they can be the usual suspects which are recognised internationally or buildings which matter to a certain location.
I will start off with the Tyne Bridge and The Castle Keep of Newcastle.
I would be interested in buildings that mean something to people.

The Shard, St. Paul's Cathedral, Millennium Eye and 30 St. Mary's Axe ('Gherkin') are four not mentioned so far.
I would consider the Tyne Bridge and Lincoln Cathedral amongst my favorites.
I would like to add monuments if not off-topic: Angel of the North, Stonehenge, Nelson's Column.
The Stadium Of Light, St Peter's Church, Wear Bridge and the Museum and Winter Gardens in Sunderland.
The Rodboro building and the Cathedral in Guildford (where some scenes for the film Omen were filmed)
Express Building
Yep, they are all beautiful buildings.
I loved the majestyk building too unill some scrotes set it on fire. Such a shame.
For a modern building that looks lovely I'd say the new entrance to the train station when it's completed. It looks stunning
One of my favourite buildings in London, definitely iconic.
What's amusing about that?!?!
When I was little I couldn't wait to go on a train over this.... as I thought it would go over the top of the bridge.
Food Bank.
St Georges Hall, Liverpool
Technically not one building but....
The Pier Head, Liverpool
I also like the longest cathedral in the world
The Anglican Cathedral, Liverpool
I think the Majestic has a temporary roof on it now but yes, that was a terrible thing to happen to a lovely building.
I think the Roger Stevens Building at Leeds University is a stunning piece of architecture, although I understand why it won't be everyone's cup of tea!
Hoover factory in (I think) Hanger Green
