What do they eat in your house then? Hand crafted chocolates made by pixies?

No, just Roses, which are now of course technically made by 'craft' :D

They probably all got snapped up when they went on sale recently. I got two tins @ £5 each. Bargain or what!

They were £5 at sainsburys last week. Now the crafty buggers have put them up to £6

Yeah I got mine from there. £1 price hike is a bit bloody cheeky but £6 is still a bargain. I only ever buy them for Christmas anyway.

Roses and Quality Street are hideous. Even Heroes ain't all that.

Nought wrong with Quality Street, especially as Asda are selling them at £4 a tin. When you've had one two many drinks, they do the job just nicely. Failing that Tesco were selling large boxes of Thorntons for £6. Or you could always stick with the old favourites of small geasers and toblorone.

Even £1 a tin would be too expensive.

    1. Half get left.
    2. The toffee ones pull out your fillings, hefty dental bill.

Its Christmas, the whole idea is to delve into the tin, stuff your face with your favourites, then look innocent when everyone moans that the best ones have all been eaten.

With quality street, that doesn't take long.

Our Tesco had loads of celebrations and quality streets left. They'd sold out of the roses though.

Not a problem as Morrisons were selling them for £4.99

Morrisons were selling the 400g boxes of Roses Buy One Get Two Free, so for £3.99 you could get 1.2kg worth of Roses which was great when the Tins were £4.99 and you actually get less than a kg now.

I actually quite like Celebrations, but no one else does so I don't get them, not a fan of Quality Street - as I think there is only one I actually like, same goes for the Roses, although I like maybe 3 with the Roses.
