Can you predict what soap weddings, births and funerals will air next year?
Eastenders
Weddings:- I am going to go with Buster and Shilrey
Funerals - Obviously Stan, but I think Alfie might croak it.
Births - Ronnies in the New year and we already know Linda. I also think 2015 will see Sharon Mitchell fall pregnant
Coronation Street
Weddings:- Dev & Julie
Funerals:- Izzy Armstrong
Births:- Fayes baby & Julie
Emmerdale
Weddings:- Robert and Chrissie (wont go ahead) - Ashley and Harriet
Funerals:- Katie Sugden will die!
Births:- Moira and Cain baby

I basically am thinking on the same lines as you.
Weddings:- Ronnie and Charlie? Ooh I would love to see Buster and Shirley get married.:)
Funerals:- Stan.
Births:- Ronnie's baby, And Linda's. (I don't really want anymore babies or pregnancies on the square though at the mo.
I also think Ian and Jane may reunite eventually in 2015 unless Jane turned out to be Lucy's killer. Another split for Kat and Alfie after the fire comes to light?
**On that subject and slightly off topic but me and a friend of mine were just talking about this, do we know anything about the renewal of contracts? They must be up soon?

Births: Sinead, Peri, Esther, Lindsey (I can see her trying to get pregnant again so she can have one that's "Freddie's"), Phoebe (wasn't there a spoiler about her having a "bombshell" for Robbie?) maybe Kim (I can also imagine a "compromise" where she has a baby for her and Esther to raise, while Esther agrees to give hers to Grace and Trevor)
Weddings: Ziggy and Tegan (probably a rush down the aisle because they don't know if she'll survive), Cameron and Leela (double wedding?)
Funerals: Maybe Patrick - IIRC, it was at the end of summer that Jeremy Sheffield said he'd renewed his contract for another year, so towards the end of 2015? He seems ripe for a dramatic villain death when the time comes for him to leave ...

Stan Carter, Jim Branning and one other not sure who, but there will be 3 deaths by this time next year.
Weddings
Mick and Linda later Ian and Jane.

Ronnie gives birth as does Whitney

7 deaths by this time next year, one person by the angel of death (Confirmed), i reckon they wil also kill 1 more as well as a brief small time character, the others spread out throughout the year, one of the Lovedays will die.

BIB - Gawd I totally forgot about those two not actually been married, I'd love to see Linda get her dream wedding.
I have thought about the death of Nick, I just don't know if the production team are brave enough to kill such a long standing character. Personally I hope they tweak Nick's character to enable him to stay, I'd like for him to finally love his mother as Dot deserves that.
