  I thought it would be good but it wouldn't work so well. Perhaps if they do what they do in Australia where Gretel comes on the screen?

  No, they shouldn't. No contact with the outside world. They might try and kidnap "poor" Davina.
  
  The screen thing would work, I suppose. Gretel chats to the housemates for a bit though, Davina just says the eviction result and that's it.

  I think the format is good as it is--distant, formal, and short. No contact with the outside world and they should stick to it.
  
  That being said, it'd work better if they actually did stick to it :rolleyes: Why do they think showing the HMs clips of people talking about them is a good idea?

  I think it would be a good idea to put her on screen, but not put her in the house. The housemates would be all excited at first, but then it would just become routine. Plus, it's meant to be the housemate emerging from the house, with no idea what's coming, ready for crowds to cheer or boo. Davina would just get in the way.

  I thought she went *to* the house to get the winner not actually inside the house. The front door was on ground level, I think the house changes were to stop the house mates from standing outside on eviction night waving at family and the press.

  I think that all stopped when Davina kept being pregnant during BB. Too risky for her to have to negotiate all those stairs.;)

  I loved the bb2 finale and still dad it on vhs until recently. One thing striked me about it is that they played background music on bb2 and eventually the music was addictive and i loved it.

  Only in the BB1,BB3 and BB4 finals Davina went in the house.
  
  In BB2 Brian talked to Davina on the stage.
