    This made me laugh. :p

But no, I think Nicole is an excellent singer and I can't wait to see how she does on the UK show.

Sinitta: Judge's houses leaves/ Hit me baby one more time/grease is the word/Neighbours/wife swap/Dancing on Ice/Loose Women/ I'm a celeb.....How desperate can one ageing famewhore get....

Scherzinger- Girlband lead singer /Topping sexiest polls/Multi platinum selling artist/ Britian's most sought after artist/X factor new girl/Award winning musician/Actress/songwriter/ Hit solo artist. It's like comparing Scherzinger to a sack of cement really.

If we're ranking C-listers based on 'desperation', Nicole is definitely in the running. Lying about leaving to 'focus on her music' only to accept the next XF gig that comes her way - she's desperate to save face, desperate to relaunch herself every six months, & desperate to make Nicole happen.

Why do you think her album keeps getting delayed? (Here's a hint: it's not because her label think it'll be too successful for them to handle the demand.)

C lister- opinion. She did focus on writing and music. XF is very important to her, maybe she wanted to prove a point. Save face- she had nothing to save face for. Relaunch- No need, she's already a chart-topper. Making her happen-Scherzinger's already had a great solo career.

The delay-Bad management Scherzinger's a perfectionist/ needed a bigger platform was being unfairly blamed on xf us and wanted to wait. It was understandable if management wanted the dust to settle. "Pretty" performed on xf us had over two million hits and people are desperate for it to be released so any solo Scherzinger album will be successful.

And only 1.9 million of those were from anti-fans hoping she'd fall over. (As a side note, where do you get 'over 2 million' from? A link would be helpful.)

How did she focus on writing and music? Why is XF 'very important to her', when she spent six months being mocked and hated by the viewers? What point did she want to prove? That she could actually string together a coherent sentence? If she had nothing to save face about, why did she lie? If she's so loved by her millions of fans, why can't she top the charts in her own country? (or at least make the top 20.) If she's already had a great solo career, why does she need to keep promoting herself via TXF?

Why do you go from blaming 'bad management' to saying that her management's decisions are 'understandable' in just two sentences? Where does she think she's going to find a bigger platform? TXF is about as big as it'll get for her in the US, and she blew it. Why do you give several separate reasons that contradict each other, rather than one that you can actually back up?

All good questions but I get the feeling the answers will not be forthcoming. I think that some fans of certain acts believe that if they keep saying the same thing over and over it will make it true. Witness Matt Cardle's fans with their mantra that he "left" Columbia Records. Yeah, right. He announced that they had "parted ways" with the promise of an "exciting" announcement "soon" and months later still no announcement and still no record deal. Columbia said nothing; it's common to allow jettisoned acts to save face and of course that is the case with Nicole and the US XF too.

It's really hard to take seriously anything said by fans who insist that she left on her own accord. It's very clear she was fired and as far as I know she is the only person who has ever pretended otherwise apart from her diehard supporters.

No-one who's fired, who's in the public eye, ever admits to being fired. Its a polite way of saying it when someone 'steps down for the good of the company'.

Maybe Scherzinger wanted to prove a point because she was being mocked by some viewers. There's no proof she lied. She couldn't top charts because of bad management. Scherzinger doesn't need xf, she chose to come to the uk because she loves helping other artists. If anything Tulisa needs the show more.

Her management have been bad overall, even her fans have said that. Their decisons were understandable after XF because of the backlash she got. How could they release anything at the time she was getting death threats. Bad management made an understandable choice saying it was "right" would have been a contradiction [if that makes sense]

Scherzinger didn't "blow it" because she left, gained more fans, prepared her second album and came back to XF because she missed it and wants to prove she a better mentor than ever [if that's possible]

    ^ You are 100% right.
All of the backlash she received was because of her "management".

    That clears things up.
    Delusions.

The scary thing is that the condition of his/her apprentice "Double O Six" is now far worse than once thought.... the clear result of direct exposure for extended periods of time!

The poster above wanted the link that proved Scherzinger has over two million views on XF, and an explaination of why Scherzinger wasn't sacked. The link is proof Scherzinger's popular.

The difference is the Frankie fandom's just for laughs. Scherzinger really has the talent to be singing for the president next year. Scherzinger has award winning songwriting and performances. She's known all over the world. This time next month Scherzinger will be the most talked about popstar on this forum.

Fair enough if you don't like Nicole but I think some of you are being quite nasty in calling others delusional...the OP started this thread because he wants to debate Nicole's return to The X Factor UK, so why has it now turned into sneering and talking down to other posters as if it's a crime to say anything remotely positive about Ms. Scherzinger?

To my defense, I simply disagreed that Nicole was 'first option', 'one to get' on the show. She was hired after options A, B, C, D and E had failed (as someone rightly pointed out). don't dislike her personality. Dont mind her music

The reason why the word deluded is being used is because the OP will not accept that NS was sacked from the USXF.

No other reason, it's not because the OP is a fan of NS ;)

    Yes, agreed.

That sort of talk is not nice at all :(

But really, plenty of people have said nice things about Nicole, and not been attacked for it. Nobody's going to jump on anyone for simply being a Nicole fan, and it's pretty disingenuous to suggest that that's the only reason people were using the word 'delusional'. I think it's pretty obvious (and has been for a long time) that granted08 is a troll. It's fun to play with him/her, but nobody really thinks this is for real, right?
