DS redirecting you to porn

Hi. I wrote abiut this yesterday but I don't get many serious responses. Basically when I am on DS and I click on a post I sometimes get redirected to a porn site called "local slags" . I'm on an iPad so hopefully I'm safe from spyware etc but still it's bloody annoying . I'm not sure wht to do cant the admin sort it out?. It only happens on ths site too.

    Why not contact the mods by alerting your post.

    I have never been redirected anywhere else.

    Try contacting the mods direct instead of starting another thread. We can't do anything about it.

    i suspect most people will tell you to use adblock without actually reading the part that you're on an iPad.

    It could still be a local problem though because whenever I look at DS on my iPhone, I've never been redirected to anything.

    You can try clearing the temp etc files:

    Also upgrade to the latest OS.

    Guess my main question is am I safe from malware etc considering I'm on an iPad ?. And I ave alerted my post now thanks to who suggested it.

    It seems your browsing history is being used to direct these advertisements in your direction. A good clean up and an adblocker should sort you out.

    It's never happened to me, but I've seen a few threads complaining about this over the years.

    If memory serves, it was usually when accessing DS from a phone or other non-computer device.

    Never happened to me but at least one previous thread on the subject so maybe it is an ongoing problem.

    Some adverts make my phone go crazy and redirect too. I've never had any local slags who want to meet me.

    It has never happened to me on here but I did have to get an adblocker because one the adverts kept popping up with some woman with a large bottom ... so annoying!

    I sometimes accidentally hit the advert buttons, and the last one that popped open was for Local Slags :mad: !!!

    I don't know if that's because I'd looked at this thread about 15 minutes ago or what and its now in my cookies or something.

    I'm using an iPad and I never look for smut on it as its a work iPad so that would be just silly.

    I have started to get similar on my iPad. I click on a thread in the Showbiz section and it takes me to the App Store and candy crush. Have not noticed it happening in any other site accept DS.
