On another forum we were wondering if Ang would now do what he refused to go FOR this 'Special Edition' set, and actually release everything Heath filmed that hasn't been released.
It's been so annoying this past 2 years or so, seeing stills of scenes they filmed that didn't make the final cut, not to mention the scene in the trailer which didn't either. That really DOES annoy me, to actually put a scene in the trailer which isn't in the film!
I always wanted to see (and I'm not the only one) the scene where they meet for the last time, and you see them hugging when Ennis turns up. Also a scene from the first part of the film on the Mountain, where they're sat round their campfire on what looks like a sunny day, in shirt sleeves. Also the scene when Jack gives Ennis a present of a new gun, I think it was (you see Ennis sat with this brown box on his lap and Jack stood next to him smiling at him) and of course the famous scene everyone hated - including Heath cos he mentioned it in an interview (that I heard) ...that they had to film, with the hippies! He said he felt very sorry for the actors who took part in that scene because of course it never got on screen. So typical of him to say something like that.
They're just the ones I can remember at this moment, there's probably more.
One day I hope we get to see it all.
Like many here..I've also seen the pictures and heard about the cut scenes..one day I hope we get it, but I feel that Ang and some of the others behind the scenes may feel that it's too soon and would feel like it looks as if they're cashing in on Heath's death.
But one day I really hope we get to see all the scenes that were cut and some more behind the scenes footage would be nice as well.
