My free thirty day gold subscription ends on the 1st. I have just bought and succsessfully entered a code from cd keys however it is not showing in my subscriptions. Infact its still saying membership ends on the 1st. Will my pre paid gold year kick in on the first or has something gone wrong. I would have expected my subscription status to be reflecting my pre paid code by now.

    Log in at xbox.com, go to my account and subscriptions and it should say.

    It should just start as soon as your current one runs out.

    Thanks, apparently the reason it hasn't been added is because I still have a week left of an active subscription and you can't top up anymore.

    Yes you can. Mine expires December 5th 2016 and thats what shows.

    Im confused then. The microsoft chat adviser said I could redeem it on the 1st but not before. He gave me a 100 % guarantee it would work then. I hope so.
