This was much better than the last series. It seems like they have taken most of the criticisms on board. :-) When that annoying twit Louis Spence appeared, I had to press the 10 second skip button.
I am glad that he reduced the gimmicks, although the gold thing just went on and on. I don't know much about Spandeau Ballet, so the references meant nothing to me.
As others have said with no recurring annoying characters and just concentrating purely on the TV show clips it made for a much better show. My favourite parts being:-
Phil's itchy beard
Phil Mitchell's catchphrase "Cacana Pat"
The picture of the female cook's Fucacia (sp?)
The cushion looking at Peter Barlow
Franck Brennau (sp?) then the real Frank Bruno showing up
Thank goodness Harry's back on top form and without Heather, the Knitted Character, Wagbo, etc. Laughed more tonight than I did at the whole of last series.

Yes, much better without all that. I laughed a lot, at really silly stuff. The Born Free bit i liked!
Glad to see similar opinions on here. I thought tonight's was a huge improvement and found myself laughing all the way through. No Wagbo or K Factor b***ocks!
Could someone tell me the names of the two songs that played after the Corrie theme when Harry was miming it after Fizz sunk into it?

I agree. I hope they keep it like this for the rest of the series. The show is always better when it's just based on the TV clips.

Hilarious!
Missed it
When was it on? Tonight I assume from all the posts!
If you go onto the ITV Iplayer its probably on there.
It was a good show. No gimmicks....just Harry taking the mickey out of the tv shows......really good!
What on earth was it supposed to mean, can someone explain please..? Thanks xxx
I was trying to work that out too
I'm still none the wiser
OMG comedy "gold" probably haven't enjoyed it so much since "ear cataracts".....:p
Funny, funny show.
Or the Vienetta tanks .........
It doesn't mean anything, Phil was having a heart attack and when he tried to talk whatever he was trying to say sounded like that.
