What probably happened is : everone knew what was going to happen because it was decided in the ad break after the bottom 2 were announced, or even earlier when the vote had closed.
Then because controversy and discussion was what was required of tonights show, the director ordered a panning shot that clearly showed a producer talking to Louis. He could have been saying anything, the point was to be seen.
Louis forgot his lines, hence Dermot having to ignore some of what Louis said and shout at him til he remembered to take it to deadlock.
There you go
Correct..... as always and obvious, they (the producers) know the results before Dermott and with enough time to deliberate on. There was no reason for the camera to suddenly pan backward to let us all see the "Gentlemen" crawling up Louis leg. The action was deliberate to raise controversy. Louis is positioned at the end and Dermott is told I dare say through his earpiece which Judge and order to go through. Problem really is that Louis is getting a bit doddery and gets flustered (but then they know that which adds to the drama).
It’s the first opportunity to paint this year’s characters for the Judges. If it wasn't so staged, I'd comment on how Gary could put through Frankie last year the way he did, but walks off when now Rylan gets through. It’s all in the hype game. Just would ask people don't vote, or at least wait to the later stages, when it’s harder for this sort of thing to take place.
