This tells you that one of the USB devices is malfunctioning. To fix this problem do the following:

    Go to to control pannel
    Go to System and Security
    Go to Device Manager
    Click Universal Serial Bus Controllers
    Right click the USB
    Click Uninstall

Probably would have been worth mentioning to the OP that this will also stop the mouse and keyboard from working! Its ok though just power off using the button on the case, turn it back on and windows will re-install the USB channels and anything connected to them.

Wether it would fix the problem is another matter... Would be worth trying another mouse if you have one. Also if you got a USB extension on be sure to take that out.

Do you mean double-click "Universal Serial Bus Controllers"?

What do you mean by "Right click the USB"? There will be numerous entries with "USB" in them.
