Sending e-mails

I have just purchased a Samsung U600. Set it up for Tiscali and have Virgin PAYG. It receives e-mails but when I send one it doesn't arrive, I think I am not setting it up correctly and the manual is next to useless. The POP3 nd the SMTP are as per my normal Tiscali set up. Can anyone please help me or tell me if I can get a better manual? Many thanks.:confused:

    Well it's only the SMTP that's for sending. Tiscali may not allow you to use their SMTP server when you're not connected to their network. ask them. virgin probably have one you could use.

    the SMTP server you use doesn't have to be related to your mail provider.
