Disinfectants - Trigene or similar

hi i'm wondering if ayone can help me out with this

our old collie is a bit... leaky as far as her bladder goes

it's not a massive problem but we've just run out of trigene for cleaning floors etc.

we've swapped to virkon for now, but find it a litle more difficult to use than the trigene - it also doesn't smell particularly nice like the trigene did.

as trigene has gotten rather expensive. would confi clean2 be any better to use than virkon?
how effective is it compared to both other disinfectants we've tried?

we might try the conficlean anyway, but just wondering if anyone has any opinions of these

Have you ever tried the Safe4Pets range? A few of my friends work at a vet and that is what they use. At my work we use trigene but I know how you feel about the prices!

    http://www.safe4disinfectant.com/shop/index.php

They have good products here on their website and you can even get promotional packs with different items in a bundle.

    Good luck :)

A warm solution of biological washing powder works very well for cat pee.

Steer clear of the cleaners that go white when mixed with water.

They contain phenol (Carbolic Acid), which is toxic to cats and dogs.

    That would be Dettol then?

Never heard of Trigene until I read this thread. It's not something I've ever noticed in the supermarket...

You don't get Trigene in the supermarket but you can purchase it online or through vet catalogues :)
