Aw. I remember that lovely video. RIP Spartan Warrior.

There's a similar story last month or so. A young boy's town threw Halloween, Christmas and a street parade in honour of his fifth birthday early as he only had a few days left. He enjoyed those occasions before passing away three days after his birthday.

It's so sad when children die.

Sadly, children and babies die all the time.

According to the Stillbirth & Neonatal Death Society (SANDS). In the UK 17 babies a day die just before, during or just after birth.:cry:

So sad for his parents for him to die at this time.

Every Christmas will be a time for them to dread.

I can remember being told 3 days before Christmas back in 2003 that my son had an unknown type of cancer. Christmas was awful as we believed it was likely to be his last.

Luckily, he survived and is now a strapping adult.

So sad to read this story at least he looked happy in the picture for his short life, its also a very cruel time of the year to lose him,no age at all.

I hope his parents take some comfort from the fact they have some happy memories.

Life can be horrible and its stories like this that put everything into perspective.:(

Friends of mine told be a story of a wee lad who was terminally ill and obsessed with superheros. Apparantly his whole neighbourhood got involved in giving him a day to remember. Basically as he went round he found lots of people in need of help that he and only he was able to give, I have googled it but not found anything. It must have been heartwarming and heart breaking at the same time.
