Real marking issue there - Biggins and Tina both with a dud starter and her main got a better talk up. He didn't try much, her starter was bland and undercooked. You can split that in favour of either - on the best main course or worst starter.

Lisa would take Charlie through, John agrees. Gregg would have him in a 3 way run off on his comments?

Good rap over the knuckles for the ever annoying Peters. Charlie should go through despite the brown main. A lot more cooking than a couple of the contestants.

Why would he be creepy? Seems like a genuine bloke and for someone who hasn't cooked in 30 years he has improved greatly.

If you believe that you'd believe anything.

Just a vibe i get off him. Something that makes me not want to be near him. So i find it hard to fairly judge his food tho what cooking is involved in a tuna tartare....

On those comments it should have been Biggins and Jason going . His main was less well recieved, his starter would have been weaker if Tina had cooked hers, and he was accused of having no ambitionwhich is incompatible with their criteria of ability to progress. He's a bigger name though.

Well done Lisa for putting Andy "I'm a food critic" Peters in his place.

Correct result for me. Hope the troll goes away next week as he spoilt my reading this thread with his inane "faux ingenuous" remarks. Don't know what pleasure he gets from it, but I'm enjoying this series very much. Even Andi Peters is less annoying than usual

    :)
Was it just me or was there a lot of flirting between Charley ant Tina tonight ?

I met Charley at the NEC motorcycle show a few years ago and he even flirted with me and I'm nearly old enough to be his mum! :)

I think I just spotted Mary Arden's farm in preview of semi finals. I was there with 60 nine year olds back in May when there was a marquee being erected which I was told was for filming CMC. Whatever they make it should be an improvement on the vegetable pottage and unleavened griddled bread the reenactors normally lunch on.

I watched Thursdays' Masterchef yesterday and I can't remember who it was, but they were congratulated on how good their sausages tasted.
They never made the sausage meat - it was already made for them !
All they did was put it through the machine !!

He said he was going to do a Tuna Carpaccio and then did a Tuna Tartare !
Apart from Christine Hamilton, did anyone else think that cucumber ribbon looked lika a FISH ??

I really am enjoying CMC but there is one thing which drives me bonkers.

When I hear 'off you go' I could scream and John is at it too now.

Who do they think they are talking to? >:(
