EE Network Issues Again?!?

Is anyone else having Network issues today on EE?

Was all working fine this morning, could connect to wi-fi at home via my livebox & 3G when out of the house. However since i came home a couple of hours ago if i try to connect via wi-fi or 3G pages are either very slow to load or don't even load at all!

I've called EE Customer Service who said no issues in the area i live (bristol) but they've done speed texts on the router which come back very slow & the very fact i can't connect via 3G tells me it must be their network yet again!!!

Anyone else in the same boat?

It was working fine in Colchester but I seem to have lost 4G completely and on 3G/2G no data but calls working ok.

It's national, people are posting from all over the UK that they are losing 4G and data does not work on 3g/2g. I can confirm in Bedford it's down too.

National issue, although personally I've not been knocked off 4G at all day, it's just a bit slow.

Not having any problems in Aberdeen, though it appears to be slower than usual on 3G (1 meg up and down)

My 4g mifi has worked through the outage but my phone went down about 1640 and lost 4g signal. Data just back at 1730 in Glasgow but no 4g even though the mifi is on 4G

It's certainly becoming more frequent that's for sure. Today was the 1st time that it impacted my Home broadband & Mobile at the same time so that's an unwanted new high!!!

Maybe local this time, upgrades? you mean changing the cells around so they do not have so many masts.

that is what I mate was told, because Ee uses orange and T-mobile masts, they are taking some masts offline, but it could leave gaps.
Anymore gaps and it will be worth having.

Sadly it is not just EE, the whole mobile network in this country is a waste, if I go for say Vodafone, then I expect to be able to use that phone in at 99% of the country and yet I find that even somewhere which is not that far out, i lose signal.
I went to meet a mate in town this afternoon, he have Giff Gaff, crap signal from that as well in the town centre.

Time for the mobile networks to start putting some of their enormous profits into getting a decent network for voice and maybe for get about spending millions on 4G for a while.

EE have switched of nearly all the masts they planned to due to overlap of Orange & T-Mobile masts being so close each other. Upgrades as in backhaul, new cabs, antennas, 4G etc.

O2/Voda are also in the process of cutting masts that are duplicated and have many still to go compared to EE..
