OFCOM Are Selling Off the VHF Channels 143 MHz to 156 MHz

OFCOM announced today that it would also sell off the VHF Band 143 MHz to 156 MHz formally used by the Emergency Services

    So what's going to happen to the 2 metre/144-146 MHz amateur radio band then ? :confused:

    Nothing is going to happen to it, as usual joshua has quoted out of context.


    Its 143 - 144, 146 - 148, 152 - 153.0625 and 154 - 156 MHz

    Part of the 144 - 146Mhz band is being requisitioned for the Olympics though.
