Hi
i have a virgin moble sim and want to keep the phone number when i move to o2. But before porting the number and getting the pac code etc do i have to get the new o2 sim activated my topping it up by say £10?
The o2 sim was a free one of the internet, and so far i cant make calls to it.
So what first - port number then top up for activation or activate first then port number?

Your pac lasts 30 days so get it, top your sim up and contact O2 and pass the pac on.
Activate firs then initiate the port in.
