Yes, there are two many programmes of celebrities going on holiday (IMO).

Especially in this current climate. Even though I doubt it's the intention, it comes across of the programme makers rubbing our noses in it. Property programmes which showcase homes only middle - upper class people could ever hope to afford piss me off like nothing else, too.

I also hate programmes with celebs doing stuff, and how these have taken the place of proper documentaries. Awful.

Oh, and "professional northerner" types can be irritating as well.

Yes and those documentaries which you think is going to be about the subject but it's someone 'recreating' it, a voyage or a battle or something. I'm sure many people like them but I'd rather a straightforward documentary.

And all those American Pickers, Loggers, Truck Drivers type programmes.

Fake tan, fake plastic stick on nails, glued on hair extensions.
    - None of these things make a woman more attractive.
    Twitter
    - Why tell people when you are having a cup of coffee? Bizarre ego centric nonsense.
    Saggy arse jeans
    - When are they going to go away? They make legs look short stumpy and deformed.
    Leggings/tracksuits/playsuits/PJs in public
    - Very unattractive particularly on larger women.
    Saying 'like' all the time
    - There is nothing likeable about this. It's just irritating.
    Tattoos
    - Its the really bad artwork i object to.

I half blame those programmes for people getting house obsessed in the 2000's.

    - People who post every last detail of their private lives on the web
    - Derren Brown
    - One Direction
    - Danny Boyle films
The Danny Boyle films I really do not get at all, Slumdog Millionare.137 Hours a load s***.
Derren Brown lost all credability when he said he could guess the lottery numbers in a live stunt, but he produced the numbers after the draw.
Don't know what One Direction are like music wise, but they seem to like the older ladys, the one who went with Caroline Flack is not old enough to drink.
Don't wear my pyjamas to the shops but next winter I have planned to buy a onesie and just pop my coat over it in the morning if I want a pint of milk.
I forgot about the people on the internet, I IMO it is the annonymous factor I have noticed lately that people do not listen to you they want to have their say and never really take in what you are saying, so maybe people on the internet just need a listening ear, dunno:confused:
i am confused about the popularity of this iphone scanning things you see everywhere now, when is it going to stop. My friend got a £450 Iphone at xmas and I think it is already oldhat:(

    Abused childhood memoirs

I find it seriously bewildering that books like "A Child Called It" always whizz to the top of the best sellers list. I could never read anything like that. Even when I watch TV, I have to turn over if abuse survivors are on to talk about their tramua. It's just too upsetting to listen to and I think I can realise that these horrific things happen without pouring over every detail.

One more: claiming to have been bullied seems to be a fashion accessory and one that devalues the real thing.

    3D television.

    Celeb worship.

Facebook and Google+. What do people actually do all day on those systems?

I find Twitter very useful to keep up with the news, usually it as effectively a modern-day RSS system. I don't follow celebs and I don't tweet anything myself. I don't understand Twitter's hash key or internal messaging facilities, nor why people say that it can be used for conversations or discussions.

Tattoos:confused:........oops sorry I just noticed that they were mentioned elsewhere.

A lot of things on this thread seem to be personal dislikes that whilst not liking them oneself you can actually see why other people might be into it eg Religion but for me Tattoos are really baffling and incredibly commonplace nowadays.....why would anyone want to permanently decorate their body with stars or names or barbed wire images etc.........at best it would be like wearing the same clothes every day........
