Ghost Madge was good at first but is getting stranger especially as she is psychically interacting with objects now (the photo album). Think it would have been best to have had only one episode with her.
I think that's all in Harold's imagination though, so would fairly plausible that ghost Madge would interact with objects.
Toadie commented that Harold seemed distant.
What Lauren did was far worse she lied to Matt for 20 years hiding the fact she had had a child from him not to mention her cheating on him by kissing Brad.
She thought she lost the baby, so why would she tell Matt she had another child? The kiss was bad, but not as bad as risking going to prison and endangering your family.
I agree. It had all happened before they met and Lauren was moving on with Matt. It all came back though when she discovered Brad had moved nearby. I don't think Lauren keeping her supposed dead baby a secret is bad, its just very sad that she carried it alone all that time and I would feel nothing but sympathy for her for that.
The kiss was not good, but twenty years of emotions and regret which I would not even want to understand came to a head during the search for her daughter. Not a great move, but a somewhat understandable mistake after all she had been through.
Isn't it annoying how the writers are changing Kyle character and turning him into an uncaring husband to suit their storyline with Nick. Think it's been done completely wrong.
Oh and to add my two cents worth. As a straight man I think Brennan is more handsome than Tyler. Tyler is a typical pretty boy who thinks his looks will get him whatever he wants. Ugh![/QUOTE]
Tyler is bland and characterless. I wish he would stop wearing those stupid t-shirts with huge armholes! Mason used to wear them - another one who thought showing lots of chest equated with being attractive! Kyle and Chris had a brief spell of holly t-shirts and shirt-stripping, but then thought better of it - they didn't need to be so obvious!
Where to start with Lauren? Her initial reaction I got. Here's a man who projects his principles and moral way of viewing the world on to others, especially his family, so I can understand Lauren finding it difficult and hard to comprehend how Matt was capable of doing something she never thought he was capable of doing. He accepted a bribe to turn a blind eye to criminal activity, which could land him in jail, and the family in even bigger financial trouble. I don't think she's being hypocritical by calling him out on this.
But, I think she should take time to consider that how she feels right now, is probably how Matt felt when he learnt all of her secrets (the baby, the Brad sketch, the Brad kiss), so writing them off as being irrelevant is unwise, b/c actually, it is relevant. Matt probably expects support and forgiveness, like how he supported and forgave her. I didn't like how Lauren questioned knowing who her husband is, b/c it's not the first time Matt has bent the law and lied about it: he covered up Bailey's involvement in Mason and Robbo's Mount Isa raid, so this current revelation isn't a new feeling for her. That was an overreaction on her part.
Great seeing Janelle, again. I loved the comedy Bake-Off. So glad they got an actual celebrity that is (semi-) known outside of Australia; thankfully, I've seen MasterChef Australia, and know who Matt Preston is - loved Karl wearing the gravat to impress and ultimately winning.

Have they changed Kyle's character? I don't think he's being written as uncaring, just busy with work right now, and I think Georgia gets that. If he was uncaring then he would never have shown up at the blood drive, or made the effort to go to the ballet (something he hates). I did feel sorry for Georgia when she overheard Nasty Nick talking about the bet.

OK maybe not uncaring but they are trying to make him not look good. Like the way he was eating and never have time for Georgia, also after she donated blood which she had fears about looked annoyed at Kyle for not given it a thought. To me, she doesn't look understanding, more fed up.

I know what you mean. Every scene with Kyle and Nick are complete opposites. Nick's being caring and charming (read: manipulative), and Kyle isn't being attentive, he's busy with work, is distracted. Comparison wise, Kyle doesn't look good, and it does give the impression that Georgia would be swayed by Nick.

Except from the none madge shots the album pages had turned as well so harold must be moving two things at once. I think it would have been better if it was a complete dream episode with Madge back living and maybe other dead chracters close to Harold.

Your right. Today we saw Harold hand Madge a mug of tea as she was sat on the deck chair, but then in another shot we saw Harold sat alone and the mug on the empty seat. So he's obviously just imagining her interaction with objects just as he's imagining her presence.
I was up before the alarm this morning wide awake nothing to do so crammed in some more Neighbours - got home from work cup of coffee IPad on Neighbours again - just about to watch episode 18! It's possible I may have a problem
Ha ha nought wrong with a bit of nostalgia!.. I loved seeing jenelle the other day.I'm sure I read somewhere that Des Clarke, lucy robinson and sky mangel are still to make an appearance....anyone know of any other old characters making a cameo please comment below ;-)

Something I forgot to mention yesterday, but did anyone else find it odd that Janelle and Georgia didn't acknowledge each other, considering they are related. Not sure how they are related, but if they're both related through Toadie, then surely they must have some family connection, right?

I'll spoiler tag, just in case some people don't want to know.
Nina Tucker returns with her own story, and Guy Carpenter and Tom Ramsay also return for one episode each.
And apparently more returns later in the year for Toadie's 20th anniversary, with some of the current returnees returning for that. My guess is we'll be seeing Janelle and Lucas & Vanessa, again.

They're not related to each other though so may have never even met before. Janelle is Toadie's aunt on his dad's side, her being the sister of Big Kev, whereas Georgia is Toadie's maternal cousin, the niece of his mum Angie. So they're loosely connected both being relatives of Toadie but they're not actually related to each other. I agree it would have nice for them to acknowledge each other though. Georgia's family seems a bit detached from the Rebecchi/Timmins clan though even when Georgia's parents appeared onscreen they didn't share a scene with Toadie who is the nephew of one of them.

That makes sense - one's on Kev's side, and the other's on Angie's side of the family. I guess I just assumed everyone had socialised at least once at one their infamous family gatherings that Toadie used to talk about many years ago. I'm pretty sure when the Timmins were around, they initially mentioned Tad, so if they knew him, then they knew Gem and Coral, so I assumed they would have known Georgia, too. Both Janelle and Georgia are known to Angie, so it seems odd that they don't know each other.
Now you mention her parents, I can't possibly imagine Georgia's mother being Angie and Coral's sister, as she seems too timid by comparison, so I guess her father is Angie's brother. Their whole family tree is kinda confusing. LOL
I will be disappointed if Paige and Brennan get back together. Brennan and Naomi are perfect together. I love these two as a couple. I couldn't stand Paige and Brennan together.

This is a family tree for Rebecchi/Timmins/Reeves. It's not up-to-date as Sonya and Nell aren't included.

CAn't see Kyle as a ballet buff somehow!

Each to their own I guess. I just don't see what's so amazingly 'hot' about Brennan.

A very handsome guy with a great body, what's not to like?

It's obviously made more complicated by the fact Tad's and Bree's biological parents and siblings are added.
If I were to make a guess I would say Georgia's mother is Barry Reeves' sister.
