Blair says UKIP are nasty and unpleasant...

...and this from the politician who told overt lies to take Britain into a botched war in Iraq (thousands of British military casualties and tens of thousands of Iraqi civilian casualties), who then beat the BBC for highlighting and exposing his lies and his and his accomplices' exposure of Dr David Kelly's identity led to that poor person's death.

The Iraq War Liar is the nasty and unpleasant one here.

John Major never lost the plot, he just never found it in the first place!

He won an election with a (small) majority - which is more than Brown or Cameron did.

So you like their policy on a flat rate of tax?

Despite being a complete bell end, Blair is still the best PM Labour have had in recent years.

Is a pity he is so completely out of touch with the public mood.

What do you mean, "recent years". He was the first Labour PM since 1979 coming to power from 1997 until 2007. Gordon Brown took over for a couple of years, I know, but they're the only two so how can you say "recent years"?

No, he's right. I agree with what he has said about UKIP.

He was light relief after Thatcher.

Major must be one of the least inspirational political leaders of all time.

He's usually presented as ‘Mr Grey’ in any satirical sketch, which is very apt.

Major was more of a 'post holder' than a leader.

I wonder why the BBC felt the need to drag him into things ?

Does he pay any UK Tax at all ?

    Takes one to know one.

He also refused this morning to accept that Labour made any mistakes regarding immigration policy. How I wish he were still leading the party ;-)

And that Labour toadie James Naughtie really pushed him on it didn't he? (rolleyes)

Tony Blair should question why a "nasty and unpleasant" party did so well just four years after Labour left office.

Any Blair intervention is unwelcome and counterproductive.

The preacher on a tank can do one.

Yes. Costs less to administer, creates more revenue from the well off, and the minimum wage earners wouldn't pay tax at all.

I find it odd Ed Miliband is having a wobbly moment and yet again Blair surfaces
this isn't the first time either.
