I think it was to be called 'Number One In Heaven', Tim Whitnall was writing I believe. Is anyone in the light as to what its progress is? Is this the right forum?! :)

Slightly OT but there is a Kenny Everett documentary on Wednesday night 10pm on Radio 2

That was very good. A good article in the Fortean Times about everett's connections to politics recently too.
I was just wondering what happened to the biodrama is all.

I reckon one on the late Simon Dee is long overdue too!

We may finally get the true story about his fall from grace...although a certain Knight of the realm (still living!) might not allow that to happen!;)

The guy who wrote the Everett thing is currently in Haribo ads as the scientist with clipboard.

Tim did an excellent stage biopic (is that contradictary?) of Eric Morecambe so sounds like a good choice for this commission.

He was also Angelo in the kids sitcom Mike and Angelo!

I can't help feeling Kenny's going to be very tricky to cast right.

    Anyone heard any whispers?

Not heard any whispers, but I have a feeling Jack Whitehall could make a decent job of it
