Saw this article this morning about a young man, Stephen Sutton, who has terminal cancer and has raised over £1m for a cancer charity. What an inspirational young man.

I don't suppose there is much to discuss I just wanted to put it on here.

    Good on him,
I want to donate, I'm on my phone, links won't work, is the money going to cancer research? and how will it help people?

I've donated, it goes to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Brilliant bloke isn't he - makes a change to read about this instead of all the Kardashian, Kym Marsh, Imogen sodding Thomas tommyrot.

Such a shame but such an inspiration as well.

    The fundraising is now £1.45m.

It's sad this young man has so little time left.

What an inspiration he is, makes you realise how small some of your troubles are when you see things like this and how some people should take example from someone like him.

You certainly cannot read it and end up with dry eyes, as I said an inspiration .

Saw it on last night Ch4 News.

Amazing young lad. Read his Facebook page and posted a message to him. It's not easy reading what he writes on there.

He has now raised over one and a half million pounds - an incredible amount which will be a massive amount to this small charity and will help hundreds of other young people with cancer. His life may be short but the legacy he will leave will be immense.

I heard Jason Mansford talking about the fundraising on the radio earlier.

What an amazing young guy.....it really doesn't get much more altruistic than that.

It's very sad indeed and it is wonderful he has achieved the main goal of his bucket list. I'm feeling sorry for myself because I have further medical problems and am in agony. I need surgery on my leg now due to my car accident. Stephen's story is a reminder that although things are bad for me they could be so much worse. I intend to make the most of my life despite my problems because of people like Stephen who desperately want to live but don't get the chance.
