Patrick Troughton's female companions were all really hot.

Anyone else agree?

Polly: Sexy as ****.
Victoria: Not as cute as Polly, but still very pretty.
Zoe: Again, quite hot.

The 2nd Doctor definetley had a streak of good luck when it came to companions!

That's not to say other Doctor's haven't had some real hottie's as companions, but Patty T definetley scored a hat trick.

So has Matt Smith if you think about it. Amy, Clara and River.

I didn't know what Victoria was for, until I saw her from behind.

Never really thought much of Polly as a character (true there aren't many surviving episodes...yet? ) but saw Anneke in two episodes of 'The Strange World of Gurney Slade' and she's not only very good in them...she's stunning, despite being dressed in a Mackintosh for the duration!

Met Deborah Watling in the 80's walking around Cardiff City Centre with some fans who vaguely knew her...very nice, seemed quite eccentric (in a good way) and is *tiny*. Very pretty.

Zoe's cute and, um, OT but Jamie's got nice legs. Probably.

It being a television programme — that visual medium — most of the actors of both genders have been quite good looking.

    I am another who agrees.

Don't know why, but Victoria is my favourite.

The Tomb of the cybermen in that summer style dress.

Wow she had some great curves. Don't remember much about the actual serial

It does make you think though when you see someone attractive (or who is though of as attractive) from old TV shows and films and then you think that now they must be in their 60's-80's

... it makes you think that an obsession with youth to the exclusion of most of the range of human experience thematically limits most popular media?

Still, I'm sure I'll never get old. Right?

Anneke originally appeared 9 stories and a total of 36 episodes, only 12 of which the BBC currently have
