How many of you women like beards? Is it more because they've become 'cool' in the least couple of years? I ask because frequenting dating sites I'm struck by the number of women professing a liking for them, mainly youngish ones obviously, and am putting it down to it just being because they are on models, 'hipsters', generally seen as fashionable at present. I'm sure if I 'd have grown one a decade ago it would have provoked mostly derision.
What do you think? Would it make you more attracted to a guy and would it just be because you'd look cool by association or something?

ETA: The difference between young men looking like old men and men looking like sexy men (to me that is, of course )
But he is Scandinavian and has a bit of a Viking/ Travis Fimmel look going on.

It screams "Look at me! I've just passed puberty!".
Both very good looking men who would look even better without the fuzz.
Yes indeed
Shane Lynch, who I always thought was the best looking member of Boyzone, is sporting a terrible beard these days!

OMG that's AWFUL!!!
I plait mine to keep it neat.....
I generally dislike facial hair so Movember is a bad time for me
ETA: Yes, I know that sound sexist If he were female I'd say the same though
Xabi Alonso (Bayern Munich footballer for those of you who don't know) is sex on legs with or without a beard.
Bit of a strange example is Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. In the 4 seasons of Game of Thrones he's been short hair and clean shaven (gorgeous), longer hair and clean shaven (not really that nice at all), and long hair, beard and generally quite unkempt but yet somehow better looking than with long hair and no beard.
