Well done you two...the practicing paid off!
People have miscarriages before having perfectly healthy babies so try not to worry about anything. It was just not meant to be...you all seem very ready for it now though. If my mum had given up because of miscarriages before and after my brother I and he wouldn't be here
Please keep us up to date, my best friend is about to have her first which is scary for her.

I put my hand up 4 that. I miscarried my 1st pregnancy and my wee man is a big bruiser (high end of normal weight and size) and so healthy and happy.
You have a few obsenities to look forward to in March
I recommend every drug they offer (and thats just for you, hehe)
thank you every1 for your kind words. every bit of cramp now she's panicing, which is expected, but shes feelin fine.
she says her pants are starting to feel tight already, dunno if thats normal this early, but she's def not too pleased about weight gain he he
I had to go into maternity trousers at 2 months, got big very early. On a better note at 7/8 months I could still get my size 16 jeans on just couldn't button them. At 9 months I only looked about 6 or 7
Congratulations
I had a miscarriage on 2nd April 2005 (day the pope died so won't forget it!) I was only 5 weeks gone and had been trying for 8 years. We were going to go for IVF but found out I was pregnant 2 days before!!. I was told to wait for my next period to come and try again. I didn't get one though as 9 months later my little bump arrived . They say you are supposed to be very fertile after a miscarriage and it worked out that I was pregnant again on the 18th April (they count back 2 weeks).
Keeping my fingers crossed for you and your partner and enjoy your new family.
